Antonella Milone

Started dancing at a very young age and was familiar with classical ballet, Yoga, Bharata Natyam. Her dancing style is a mixture of different artistic experiences as sculptress, dancer,performer and actress: all these experiences gave her a rich body vocabulary and a profound understanding of the tango code.

In 1997 she started studyng tango with the best Argentine tango teachers such as Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena Ermocida, in 1999 she went to Buenos Aires where she improved her technique and absorbed the essence of tango thanks to great tango dancers such as Gustavo Naveira, Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega Gustavo Russo e Alejandra Mantinan, Natalia Games e Gabriel Angiò, Pablo Ojeda e Beatriz Romero, Pupi Castello, Cicho Frumboli e Lucia Majer, Silvia Toscano, Rodrigo Pardo, Pablo Pugliese, Noel Strazza, Javier Rodriguez, Andrea Missè, Fabian Salas, Pedro Benavente (El Indio), Diego Di Falco, Carolina Zokalsky, Sebastian Arce’.

Musicians at heart, studied classical piano and his passion led him to develop the evolutive and structural dynamics of Jazz and Blues.

Captured by the profound communicative power of tango, in 2001 he began his training as tango dancer with Luis Castro and Claudia Mendoza, then he improved his technique with Margarita Klurfan, Walter Cardozo, Beatrice Capra, Erica Boaglio,Adrian Aragon, Estanislao Herrera, Veronica Vidan, Guillermo Salvat, Silvia Grynt, Roberto Reis, Lucila Cionci, Javier Antar, Maria Trubba, Facundo Jil Jauregui,Pablo Ojeda e Beatriz Romero, Claudia Codega e Esteban Moreno, Pupi Castello,Luis Castro, Claudia Mendoza, Chico Frumboli e Lucia Majer, Silvia Toscano, Rodrigo Pardo, Pablo Pugliese, Noel Strazza, Javier Rodriguez,Andrea Missè, Fabian Salas, Pedro Benavente (El Indio), Diego Di Falco, Carolina Zokalsky,Sebastian Arce, Mariana Montes, Joe Corbata, Gustavo Rosas, Gisela Natoli, Pablo Rodriguez, Noelia Hurtado, and many others.

Massimiliano e Antonella, partners in real life and on the dance floor, are the founders of TangoDanzArte”, a dance school in Catania. Besides teaching, they have performed in many shows, plays, television programs artistic events in Sicily such as “Maria de Buenos Aires” at Bellini Conservatory in Catania in 2009, “ Passi di Passaggio” a tango video performance for one of the key figures of Abstract art in Italy, Carla Accardi, with original music composed by the famous Italian singer Gianna Nannini in June 2011… and in june 2013 they were the guest start at Madeinmedi, a Mediterranean design, art & fashion week in Noto (Sicily), just to mention the main ones.
